I just witnessed a 1 armed man beat a 2 arm 2 legs man on a 100m backstroke.

Just watched a blind race. Very inspiring. I also saw a woman who is trying to break the record for wheelchair track gold medals. Believe it or not, she is in the 100 M finals (hoping to win) and she is also the multi-time defending champion and favorite in the marathon. There is no chance that a top 100 meter sprinter in the able-bodied Olympics could ever be competitive in the marathon, or vice-versa.
I used to do some work with one of the main American track announcers(Chris Waddell). He won a ton of gold medals and is a great guy. The Paralympics are extremely inspiring to me.
