what's worse: agreeing with Skip Bayless or agreeing with ONE LOVE?
I added positive reputation points on this post of yours knowing that you are being sarcastic since the video you posted actually legitimates Kanter's max deal.
Kinda reminds us of Jordan sticking the max deal of Hair Gordon to us, huh?If Durant stays because management showed the willingness to "do whatever it takes" to make the team a contender this season, then the deal was worth it. I just want to thank Portland for making it expensive for OKC.

Go Real Salt Lake!
Sad year at RioT this year. I sense a changing of the guard next season(at least there should be).
Stephen A saying that Kanter gets 15 ppg/ 9 rpg is pretty unrealistic with healthy Ibaka/ Adams (minutes) and Durant/ Westbrook/ Waiters (touches). His FGA are likely down 20-30% and minutes down 10-20% if all are healthy. I'd forecast more like 10-13 ppg and 7-8 rpg.
With 1:1 talent like Durant/Westbrook, OKC will shift back to drive/kick (including to Ibaka) versus PNR with Kanter. And unless EK gets religion on defense, he will lose minutes on strong defensive PNR and other match-ups. Hard to imagine he can survive versus top offensive teams unless they believe they can win high scoring shootouts.
Prediction: Both OKC fans and EK whining by the AllStar break.
Also forces Adams to the bench. He can't be happy about that.I think OKC can strorm the league if morale and health stands high. The main downside for Kanter was he had a very decent and cheap backup called Mitch McGary but the FO opted for keeping Kanter for max. McGary is legit. If Kanter fits into a defensive effort, they will be pretty strong.

Steven Adams is surprisingly an uber laid back cool dude. He is one of my favorite NBA players alongside Joakim Noah. When asked about Kanter who already pushed him to bench for so time then, he said "Great player, good teammate and a really cool dude too." about Enes. But it was not long before the coach started benching Enes and putting Adams in in the end-game defensive possessions. That was really humiliating to see.
Yeah typical cool laid back kiwi dude... he's already one of the best payed sportsman in NZ so he's set for life, but what I like about him is how humble he is. He came back to NZ over the offseason and did a clinic where 100's of kids get to play basketball with him. Really nice to see.
BTW he is the brother of Valerie Adams, gold medalist/world champ shot-putter.

If the entire New Zealand is like him, I'm totally coming over!
Haha.. yeah pretty much. Very safe also, one of the safest place you could travel![]()
