Getting phone numbers is pretty easy if you're decent looking and can mumble of few sentences without falling all over yourself pretty much anywhere, but there are certainly reasons why it's probably even easier at BYU which makes in the perfect environment for a video like that. Mostly because that's not how the dating world works there. BYU is a very passive dating environment. They meet in church or classes usually, hang out a few times, and then maybe split off. Hardly ever is it just....wow, that girl is cute....gotta get her number so we can go on a date. Which is why a few of those girls were probably not used to the directness. Whereas somebody like me that doesn't go to BYU and lives in Provo, we just see random women around town that we find attractive and take a shot if we want a date or something more like you have to do most everywhere else.
