Kings are going to win today. I can feel it. Just you wait and see. Bogi is back.
These next games before the trade deadline are important if what we have tonight can start to show cohesion without more injuries may just let us glimpse what we really have.
It would be nice if the Kings could keep Utah down to less than 60 points in the first half....
Fourteenth place though not there alone
Any hopes that we had long since blown.
Tonight Salt Lake City
Won’t show any pity.
Just another bad loss we’ll bemoan!
Gobert is gonna destroy us with no Richaun out there
Battle of the Bogdanović’s
have they missed a 3 yet
Who would think a second year offensive minded power forward might not be a successful option at center against Gobert
Jazz are 15-3 in the last 18? damn.
well Conley is back tonight so hopefully the Jazz regress?
Jazz putting on a clinic yikes
They are uhhh kinda good.
Utah playing beautiful basketball, kinda embarrassing for us right now
The Jazz are wearing jerseys that look like the Sonics; the Kings look like the Pistons. I'm so confused.
Jazz cannot miss to start the game and Joe/Bogie getting easy straight line drives to the rim to assist or finish.
Utah is just going to keep screening to get Bjelica on Gobert.
We're the Browns of the NBA
Can’t score and just got bullied in the paint by Jordan Clarkson. Dedmonds killing me.
Kings playing great 14 mins in the game down by 20 already
Damn jazz put up 50 pts in 18 minutes
This game is boring I’m going to target
Jazz had an insane first quarter other than that it’s a good game. Should win this one.
Utah's arena looks like a hospital from the outside
My goodness Utah has retired the names of so many nobodies
how did the kings end up with the worst player in the top 5?
that it, its over already, lol..
Utah's shooting fish in a barrel.
Kings with our first defensive rebound!
…six minutes into the game.
This looks like a massacre...
What’s to comment on. Utah is good, we suck. Game over.
Quinn looks like a Peaky Blinder (from JA. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peaky_Blinders)
What exactly does Luke say at half time?
“Well guys, we had a gameplan, it sucked, let’s try it again, maybe it won’t this time.”
He says, "I'll have to watch the tape after the game and then we can make our second half adjustments."
Worst team in the league. Warriors don’t count due to injury. No hope. Only darkness.
I like NFL Sundays because I get to forget the Kings exist. If you're a Raiders fan, I'm sorry.
how tf does bogdan bogdanovic play for both teams ???
Jazz got some crazy ball movement
There's really not much to comment about this game, is there, except that Utah is really good and the Kings are really bad.
It could be that Gobert is 10 for 11 from the stripe and Bagley hasn't shot a free throw yet...
Kings starting 5
Getting dominated by 2nd/3rd string players. Enough said.
It's depressing to think that instead of Mitchell
We took to players that will both end up having been former Kings after this season
time to make a comeback and lose by 3
Jazz have fun and enjoy playing together. Total opposite of the kings.
Do you think ownership can hear our booing?
You could always turn to drugs and alcohol.
Probably better for your health than rooting for this team and a whole hell of a lot more fun.
Jazz did what they were supposed to do
The Jazz did what they were supposed to do….. beat a bad team at home. Never let up and dominated the mismatches. BJelly and Left hand only on Gobert was a slaughter.
Never thought that i can miss a game
Came home from work and didnt even bother to tune in. I always tune in when kings play. This season… i lost interest. **** vlade. **** walton.
Omg. Kayte just said Gobert isn't physical
…that he’s a foreign player and plays with finesse. He’s very physical and gets away with a lot of fouls!
Jazz on pace for 53 point qtr
Put our Bogie in
It's Bjelica getting lost on the switch, not Bagley. Bagley is switching just fine, Bjelli can't stop Gobert.
I seriously can't believe what I'm seeing here. So lets get this straight, on the day the Kings trade their only other true switchable combo forward Walton wants them to switch almost everything defensively? You can't make this **** up!
Please, give me more headless chickens on this team.
I guess we can keep blaming the players but how can all of them regress so poorly on defense.
I’d be rethinking not wanting the Jazz to score 60 by the half.
The first quarter is basically the difference between a high IQ and low IQ team, Jazz look like they are playing handball with the drive and dishes
I am constantly amazed at how many times this season that the Kings seemingly have all of their players on the court playing badly at the same time.
Giles straight up kicked Luke Walton and/or Vlade’s puppy at some point during the offseason. There’s no other reasoning.
(I’m aware Gobert is a huge issue but dude’s not on the floor and Dedmon is stinking up the joint)
How come other teams get SO many easy baskets going to the hoop and the Kings seem like they can’t get ANY??!
Starting to think Dedmon secretly wants to stay a king.
By missing point blanks shots and letting Clarkson kill him in the paint.....than again maybe he's tanking his value to the point where he stays a King. Dedmon is bloody awful at everything this year.
Losing night after night takes its toll, too.
Utah commentators, who are not unbearable, saying once Kings get comfortable playing against different defensive schemes they'll be formidable. I would add a defensive playmaker or two but will take it...
Considering how awful the Kings have played we are lucky to be down only 14, if the Kings even play average in the 2nd they could comeback.
Based on the eye test, it feels like the Kings should be down by 30.
Watching the Jazz you can clearly see it's a players thing, they got smart guys who make skip passes all day long after dribble penetration no one on the Kings other than Fox/Bjelly (0 FGA so far) can do that, Bogie/Cojo dribble for 5 hours than pass, Bagley (played solid) tunnel visions and Barnes is the same.
It's a player issue we got, we don't have team ballers. The Kings play a primitive basic form of basketball (works with elite talent) cause we don't have the personal to play drive and dish smart basketball.
I was hoping Dedmon would play better so he looks more valuable on the market.
If I have to watch bad basketball I would at least like to watch young bad basketball. But the Kings aren’t that young. Players on the roster under 25:
Bagley
Fox
Giles
James
somehow we are bad and relatively old.
The Jazz is a team of players that have played together and know each other and their coach very well.
O please the excuses, the Grizzlies this year are as new as the Kings, they play a similar brand of basketball, to Utah chemistry you have or you don't and same goes for talents and basketball smarts.
OK, here's a good example at how ridiculous some of the Kings offensive choices are. They go with Fox, Buddy, Bogdan, Barnes, and Bagley. What happens you ask? Bogdan posts up his man. Now ask yourself, how often do you see the Jazz post up other players around Gobert? On the very first play together, this is what you get.
Me: where is the bottle of wine
Wife: are you chugging again
Me: I’m watching the Kings
Wife: reaches for the bottle
It’s amazing how good passing makes such a huge difference in the execution of an offense.
Barnes is low key the worst contract in the league
HBO is playing the new Godzilla movie tonight at 8 if anyone else is done with this. Smh
60% free throw shooter Rudy Gobert is 10-11 at the line vs our entire team who is 5/10 at the line.
My heart dropped when I saw Donovan rising up for a second
Always a year away from being a year away...
So - the Kings have a flawed defensive scheme? Who knew? Lol
Why is Buddy handling the ball in the 4th quarter? Why he is even playing and killing every run?
Just zero offensive schemes! Good lord.
You are down by 22 Walton. Put Giles in. What are you worried about. They will play worse!
If I owned any tin hats, I might actually be thinking he's sitting because there might be a trade developing...
I’m impressed with the Jazz. They have quality players top to bottom and are solid on both ends of the floor. That’s no excuse for the Kings getting killed.
Eh, 27 and one of the best catch and shoot guys in the basketball. Might be time to call a spade a spade and see if he can squeak out an all star game at some point doing what he does best.
I dream of a day where we see the same spacing. DC and Grant aren't realizing that the majority of the Kings problems on both ends involve spacing. Too close together on offense and defense. This is why I think grabbing some fruit off the Snyder tree might be a wise choice. Hey wait a minute, Igor? Is that you on the Kings bench?
The body language of the Kings’ players looks like they are completely demoralized.
Did Bagley just take himself out of the game? I’m here in Utah, and that’s what it looked like. Not happy about that...
Jazz are good.
Well at least your fans can't boo you on the road
No matter what Vlade thinks, I'm seeing a team which has little faith in its coach and is on the cusp of completely quitting on its coach.
This season is a helluva step back.
All around, I think that’s the worst the Kings have looked in quite a while. Tough to watch.
That Clarkson kid on the Jazz is pretty dang good. So is Mitchell, Gobert, Ingle, Bogdanovic, etc., etc.
Luke Walton was just asked why the team wasn’t more physical. “I don’t know. You’d have to ask them.”
That’s never a good sign
I think what’s most frustrating for Kings fans is that there doesn’t appear to be any light at the end of the tunnel and nobody seems to have any answers. Meanwhile, the embarrassing losses keep piling up and compounding the sense of dismay.
Saying we win 1-0 implies we actually hit a free throw.
Tonight is the first game this season I am not watching. I simply don’t care.
Wait, the Sacramento Kings lost a basketball game?
The universe must be playing a cruel joke on us
You literally could not write a better example of parallel storytelling: Ayton/Hakeem, Bagley/Bowie, Luka/Jordan.
Obviously it’s still early and blah blah blah, but it sure feels like history is repeating itself and we wound up on the losing end.
Remember when we moved the ball? Good times
I hate myself for not turning the game off after the first minute.
This team is truly broken offensively and defensively. No trade can fix this team. I don’t even know what the FO should do they’ve tried drafting, trading and signing for talent and none of it worked
