No, I think we just played a pretty good team that forced us into half-court sets and we suck at that -- at least at the moment. And half-court sets with Sasquatch in the middle and them defending 3's and us with young players having difficutly knowing how to attack it pretty much spells disaster. They're a solid defensive team and their offense is really really good, too. We didn't stand a chance.

This team needs to be moved to another city. Every time I see a rockets home game the arena is half empty. Even when they are good they can’t sell out the arena. I’m a lakers fan and we sell out every game even when we are a rebuilding scrub team.
We finally ONLY turned it over 11 times ... while the Jazz turned it over 20 times ... And we STILL lost by 31 points. Didn't think it was possible ... but we may suck even more than last season. SMH
NOBODY BEATS THE ROCKETS BY 40 AT HOME
Frustrating night. Most of our three point attempts have not been contested, we’re just missing a lot. Looks like very few fans. And the announcers are especially annoying tonight, although maybe it’s the blowout.

Gobert was a problem for this team offensively. Because we couldn't hit shots and Gobert was shutting down drives, the Jazz guards were cherry picking out to get on breaks, anticipating misses. Snowballed very quickly after the first quarter.
Wood couldn't drive to the basket against Gobert and his pull up game was nonexistent.
KPJ continues to struggle with making quick decisions. He relies on hesitation too much, and he too often is wide open for a 3-5 foot shot, only to hesitate and take the ball all the way out to the top of the key. I don't know why he hasn't developed a short floater and near-basket jumper yet, and I don't know when/if he will.
The team couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, and a lot of the 3's were open.
Defensively, this was the same story last season: we can't play against teams with agile big men. Jokic, Embiid, Ayton, Gobert, etc. ate us up. Theis is the only true center on this team, and he doesn't seem like the answer, and Wood is far too frail and undersized to bang with guys 50+ pounds heavier than him.
