I trust in the front office too. I feel that most of us gave them a pass last offseason cause we were unexpectedly better than we thought. Most predicted doom ang gloom, instead FO found an even better gem and team didn’t miss a beat. Naturally FO became curious to see just how far they could go with more time. This series should give them a clear answer. This offseason should now be looking for players to help break through that ceiling.

What is it going to be like in the Toyota Center when the Jazz have Game 5 close at the end? D'Antoni, Paul, and Harden are among the greatest chokers in NBA history. If I had the rest of the day to work on it, I would compile all of it for you. They've been there before, many times, and failed. They will be staring down the barrel of potentially returning to Utah and then having to gut out a Game 7 against a team that just beat them three straight...

I had a student stop by my office this morning. He saw my Jazz t-shirt and asked me, "Oh were you at the game last night"?

I said I wasn't, after which he told me he had been there. I said, "Wow, wasn't it a great game?!"

He said, "Well... I'm from Texas and am a Houston fan, so it wasn't so great."

I didn't know what to say at that point. I wanted to say, "Oh man, Houston fans are the worst! And that Clutchfans website? Terrible!" But I refrained, LOL.

Mitchell had a spectacular 4th quarter, but it was hardly a supernova Spida game. He's got more in him than this. He looked out of sorts through 2 and a half quarters, then locked in. If he stays locked in...
