Give ALL of Rudy Gay's minutes to Ochai. Buy out Rudy. It's a half season discount at this point.
He has a $6 million dollar player option he is sure to pick up next year... unless he just doesn't play. If he sits and Ochai plays, perhaps he will be more motivated to negotiate a release.
He had made 13 of his last 42 shots. Thats a whopping 31% on all fg attempts. If they were 3 pointers it would be below par. But this includes layups and countless 15 foot jumpers.
Ochai gets garbage minutes and shows fairly well. Don't like him? Play NAW or Fontecchio more.
