Remaining Trade Exception 2.39 Million. Any Value?

With Memo's salary at 10.89 Million and Mo Williams at 8.5 million that leaves a difference of 2.39 Million available. Are there any players who would help the Jazz at that salary that we could pick up as filler in other trades?

I'd stand pat on that $2+ until training camp, when team looks to cut roster spots. Maybe someone under a rookie scale needs to be traded for space or so a team could get a trade exception back rather than just waiving or releasing the player.

2.39M isn't terribly valuable, no. there are very few cases where a team needs to dump that small amount of salary to make something work.

also, if you look at who on each team could be absorbed for less than 2.3, you're talking about two groups: 1) rookie contract guys that teams are not likely to give away for nothing; and 2) min or near-min players that wouldn't help that much anyway.

Hate to possibly burst the bubble but when they use the trade exception, it uses the entire amount regardless of the players value. So, from my understanding, there is no remaining trade exception.
