We are blind comrades to believe any different. We have aloud the media and the game winning shots to cloud our sight. Game wining shots comrades that would not be necessary if hood played defense and showed up in the other 3 quarters of the game.

I think Hood is a potential All-Star, nothing like CJ. I'm thinking Ray Allen or a Rashard Lewis - maybe too much to ask for. Consistency will come (I hope).
 
Hood is OK. He is definitely isnt a potential All-Star, but he is a solid offensive player who can get his shot off easily and run a PNR. He is terrible at attacking the rim and is kind of one note with how he can handle the ball.

He really isnt anything like Miles though. Miles is probably a better pure shooter but never had that kind of off the dribble game.
 
It's not like Miles has been drummed out of the league as some no-talent albatross. Both talented offensive players that happen to be on the slight side and therefore not that physical I suppose. Saint Cy ^ articulated their differences better than I could. Still think Hood will develop into a better defensive player.
 
I want you all to know I might have been one of the biggest CJ homers there was. I thought the guy was always one game away from breaking into something incredible. and for the last couple of years, you all, my comrades have said and felt similarly to Hood. however, its just not there. he will, just like CJ have a good career, play a lot of good basketball. he will never have a break out year, he will never get consistent and his D will always be disappointing.
Comrades, I have no intention of swaying your love for them player. we are jazz fanz, we should love our team. however, i offer voice of warning.
