He looked as good as I have ever seen.
Does anyone know any way to find out his per 36 #'s from the pre-season?

While I agree with you, it might be wise to temper expectations for the upcoming season. I think he will be that good for stretches, but think he will be better then last year don't forget this is only preseason.

Also his offensive stats are getting artificially juiced by missing our primary scorers. Once Hay, Burke, Favors come back, fewer scoring (and rebounding) opportunities for him.

I see your point, but maybe not. If Rudy is available for high efficiency buckets, he should still get touches at a high frequency. I believe Hayward becomes more of a facilitator now that he has weapons around him. And with more outside shooters, Rudy will be open more frequently and his usage will go up.

So from what I can gather he is averaging 12.6 rebounds, 3.2 blocks, and 22.1 points per game per 36 while shooting 63% from the floor and 74.5% from the line.

Pretty fantastic albeit in a small sample size.

Well his playing time is reduced in the preseason, and his scoring efficiency has been sky high.

If anything, his offensive stats are being inflated by playing with guys who are better at creating opportunities for him.

Oh uh, someone needs to brake the news about Burke to this guy.

Yeah, once regular season rolls around, free throws will be more heavily defended and also they move the line back 2 feet, pretty sure.

To be fair, Rudy wasn't facing a conga line of players in the preseason from Portland, Phoenix, and a short handed Clipper's squad that was going to be able to stop him. I want to see how he does against bigger slabs of beef. If I were Rudy, I would leave enough money on the table to make sure that he gets to keep Diaw as a package deal.

Eff everyone using "logic" and imaginary things like "sample sizes". This ain't math class... this is the real world and the real world is ruled by Rudy Gobert and his VP Chuck Norris. Bow down and recognize!

You and me both, honey!

All players, but especially bigs, always look better in the preseason.

Ummm some players look like **** and then play well, so not all players look better in preseason.

To be fair, Rudy did play against DAJ/Blake and Portland's normal center rotation in the first pre-season games. Then he crapped on Alex Len in both Phoenix games.

He had 15, 5, and 3 against the Clipper starters which would be his worst game. It is just one game though.

Saying Rudy needs a greater level of competition is correct but there is no known such competition in this universe.
