Per the NBA last two minute report, Paul George was NOT fouled by Rudy. Some other interesting stuff in the full report.

"00:20.8 LATR shows that George (OKC) draws Gobert (UTA) into the air on a pump fake and Gobert jumps to the side of George. George leans into Gobert and creates contact. It is not clear and conclusive on video whether contact would have occurred without George’s lean into Gobert. Foul: Shooting Rudy Gobert Paul George CNC"

They'll still whine. Which is fine.

Second year in a row we've basically blown up a team in the west which feels great.

The only incorrect call they "spotted" was a non-call when Rudy fouled PG on a layup with 32 seconds left. I watched the attached video twice and still couldn't see it. I reread their note, which said the contact was seen from reviewing the camera footage from above the rim (not included in the attached video). Meh.

This is completely correct; but still results in a call about 80% of the time. Figuring this **** out is ****ing ponderous.

But still, the refs shouldn't bail out George when he was trying to draw a foul when he could have gotten off a clean shot. Maybe him shooting 1-24 in clutch situations weighed heavily on Playoff P's mind.

The funny thing is that this is usually called a foul except crunch time of a big game when refs have a hard time calling fouls that actually are fouls in those situations, and if George just tries to shoot a regular 3 he might have made it, would've been a good look.

Also if George had just taken the shot instead of playing it up there was a possibility gobert bumps him enough for a 4 point play. Stupid how they try to play the refs rather than play the game.
