I know this will be a futile wish, but I hope we're not expecting too much from Ace this summer league.
He's coming off an OK, but certainly not great season in college. He'll be teammates with one recent first-team All-American and two second-team All-Americans who may be more ready to produce right away. Everyone knows that he was drafted more for traits than production and acknowledges that he has a long road and a lot to learn before he reaches his potential.
Let's be happy if he show flashes now and then and give him grace if he's not that great overall. Let's worry more during his (likely long) development about whether he's building the right foundation than whether he's producing like a #1 option.
