Should mods have "meetings"?

Should mods have "meetings" once every so often (a month? a quarter?) to discuss board members to keep an eye on, certain threads that could be heading for a lock, general policies and procedures, as well as ways to improve the board in general and perhaps even increase revenue for Sir Jason?

Possibly. It depends on how often and exactly what they are talking about. Threads heading for a lock would need alot more than a meeting every month...

Well, exactly. Some "meetings" may literally take 20 seconds when they determine there's nothing on the agenda. Others may take an hour or so when dealing with a more lengthy agenda.

I am the one that voted for maybe. I think it has real posibilities and could be very effective. It all comes down to execution. having said that I am not going to be sounding the drumbeat for this as I enjoy a little chaos.

I hear ya. Jason/Mods, if you are interested in this, I'd be willing, as a sort of outsider and objective voice, to join in said "meetings" if you do deem it something worthwhile. I'd promise to adhere to any rules for said meetings or thereafter that you put into place and I'd also understand that it no way allows me any special privileges. Just throwing it out there.
