Your company or organization is funded by tax dollars? Planned Parenthood aside our country is in deep debt and the infrastructure is falling apart. This makes no sense.
 
So I will assume you support slashing all defense contractor's CEO pay to under $500,000 for consistency's sake?

If that's a wage that is standard for a person of your qualifications and responsibilities, yes.
 
Mom-and-pop micro's to mega corporations all receive public subsidy in one form or another. Where do you draw the line?
 
We should totally defund planned parenthood, ******** aren't doing enough abortions. 97% of what they do is worthless crap.

Unfortunately it's illegal to use government funding for abortions. So the best part of planned parenthood(abortions) aren't funded by the government. I'm tired of our stupid government wasting our money on STD tests and cancer screening. It makes me so mad!

A contractor that charges the Government for a service or product is not the same. The Government is not a client of PP. Completely opposite comparison.

That pesky democracy decided that abortion is legal. Take it up with democracy not pph.
Or take it up with the women who want abortions. Women want a legal service that pph provides. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, if not for all the other services provided by pph the abortion number would be much higher

Medicaid is the program that the government funds - - in case you're not aware of what that is, it is a program that poor people use to purchase healthcare services.
 
so essentially what you're saying is that the government should dictate to poor people what doctors they can choose for their healthcare services


maybe the government should do the same for Medicare - - and tell everyone over 65 that they can't choose to purchase healthcare services at any teaching hospital or medical center that isn't on the "approved" list because of the type of medical research they do

actually ur wrong. america is a constitutional republic.
even if 99.999% votes to murder someone, doesnt make it ok, because in a republic the rights of the minority also counts.
so you can all vote to murder 1 person it is still not constitutional

All I know is that planned parenthood didn't make abortion legal. So if someone is against abortion then they shouldn't be mad pph they should be mad at the supreme court or the voters or whoever made the decision to make abortion legal.

pph actually keeps the number of abortions low by helping people get birth control and what not.
Without planned parenthood there would be more unwanted pregnancies and more women wanting abortions.

As a constitutional republic a person who wanted control of their own body challenged the written law and that challenge eventually made its way to the U.S. Supreme Court where the justices overturned the law and gave women control over their own bodies. Just the way the U.S. Constitution requires.

As for the general topic: All I can say is that personally I do not look favorably on abortion but it should be legal, with some restrictions like no partial birth, and accessible. I do wish more emphasis (not at the reduction of abortion services) was placed on prevention and adoption.

Like guns this issue will never die.

edit: I said "prevention and abortion" and it should have been "prevention and adoption"
