Only a 2 games sample, does not mean anything.
Ask the Toronto Raptors if epic failures in playoffs mean anything

He can't shoot to save his life. And that's a full season sample. He'll be continually shut down by good defenses in the playoffs because he's a one trick pony. Everybody knows what he's doing and when he's doing it. Outside 13 feet 100% pass. Play passing lanes. Inside 13 feet he might shoot. Don't let him get to his preferred spots and it's wrap. He's locked up.
I mean you can not judge a player / team on a 2 games sample. Using your creteria the Atlanta Hawks (Worst team in the east) must be better than the Jazz because the jazz lost all its games against the hawks this regular season.
it does not matter, Ben already has the ROY award wrapped up.
Who cares about that award. I guarantee Simmons won't care about it if he goes into the off season with everyone believing he choked in the playoffs. He will look like a fake ROTY
So you say Ben can't shoot but his Field goal % this regular season is 54% which is excellent.
Many people say mitchell can shoot, but his field goal % this regular season is only 43 %, which is awful. How does this work?
Many mitchell fans obviously care about this award, that is why they keep bumping up this thread.

Nah. I don't think Donovan wanted it much. I think he was just niffed that Simmons didn't acknowledge his great season. So he started to have some fun with it.
43% is certainly not awful for a high volume shooting guard. So you said Ben can't shoot but his Field goal % this regular season is 54% which is excellent.

So Rudy Gobert is a better shooter than Steph?
You know how this works... I mean you aren’t that dumb... right?

Haha. Mitchell was better the other nightyes, Rudy a better shooter inside the paint.
*scoreryes, Rudy a better shooter inside the paint.
Yep, Kobe Bryant's career average isn't much higher than that and several seasons less than or equal to it.43% is certainly not awful for a high volume shooting guard.
sounds like he wouldn't like 3 hour practices. Maybe the Sixers could trade him to the nuggets for a good draft pick.Rarely is that true but there is always the exception. There have been rumors about him not being that hard of a worker but at this point it doesnt matter. We shall see how he looks next year and see if he improves his game. He certainly did not get better as the season went on, but that is pretty normal for rookies. We just got lucky and had the extremely rare elite rookie who got better every game.
