These “experts” watch like 5 minutes of Jazz basketball so I’m not gonna put a lot of stock in what they say.

That said... he’s the primary creator... he needs help but that help could come in the form of a pg or wing and we’d be fine.

Where we play Mitchell may ultimately depend on what other talent is on the roster.

I would prefer to have a 6 foot 6ish 3 and D shooting guard who can create a little bit but doesn't need the ball alongside Mitchell at the point guard. That would be ideal imo.

But a good passing, good shooting, bigger point guard next to Mitchell at the 2 would work great too.

Conley and these other pgs are fine but I think I'd rather not take the ball out of his hands. Find a SG/PG/SF with more off ball value... that can play on ball. I just don't think we'd get the full value out of a guy like Conley.

I keep thinking of that beautiful pass from Mitchell to Rubio at the three-point line late in the game against Denver. Rubio missed the shot, but the setup was picture perfect. Regardless of what position he plays, it's awesome to see Donovan distributing the ball as well as he has lately.

All that game proved was that Donovan turned a corner that has nothing to do with him suddenly playing PG. Though if that was the trigger for him to turn it on this year, great.
