I wouldn't give up any of our guys either. Im just not sure he goes top 5. Im thinking he is closer to the 10th pick. We night be able to get up to the tenth with just our two picks. Depending on where we land and where GS lands.

Im not sold that he is going to be an elite point guard. I just think he could be the best one in the draft. And we need a point guard pretty bad.

If you think he is going top 5 for sure, doesn't that mean you think he is pretty good?

You may be right that he goes closer to the 5th pick, but I don't think its any higher than that.

I think these 4 round out the top 4

Mclemore
Shabazz
Noel
Zeller


I think Oladipo, Porter, and Bennett are somewhere in the top ten. Then at least half of the lottery teams won't even be looking for a point guard.

So a lot will depend on how the tourney goes and how draft lottery shakes out.
 
Smart is great, but he's not even Top 5 in this draft. Let's pray Steph Curry experiences concussion-like symptoms for the next 70 games so the tankers miss the playoffs and give us a Top 10 pick.
 
Im actually dont even care. We just drafted a point guard. If we fall pretty far from number 1 then maybe we have to take Smart just to take BPA.


I just bumped the thread because I want to drive a wagon and he looks good.

Its actually Wiggins or Parker that Im set on.
 
I really hope Trey's a stud and we have zero interest in Smart come draft day.

But I still really love his game. My favorite player in America, not even close.

Actually, if we fall out of the top 3 in the draft, he will be a viable option and we will not need to give up anything... and trust me, it is very possible we fall out of the top 3 because there is a solid chance we are not the worst team in the NBA at seasons end.

Jagoffs, please resticky this thread as the official who do you want if the Jazz fall to sixth or lower in the lottery.
