It's so ludicrous. Not only did the Democrats not pull any dirty tricks with Gorsuch, a few of them even voted for him. People who fear the Democrats holding this seat open for years are revealing their political ignorance of people like Joe Manchin and Heidi Haitcamp. There's no universe in which red state Democrats would be on board with that. It's a fantastical scenario.

Why didn't Feinstein bring the attempted rape accusation up until the eleventh hour? Do you honestly believe that was the correct way to handle it? It certainly looks like she was trying to drag things out with no regard for Kavanaugh or Ford.
The protests over Trump's nominee (which became Kavanaugh) were in high gear even before a nominee was named. Many Democrats have not been shy about saying that their goal is to oppose Trump at every turn, and they have. One even encouraged supporters to harass members of the Trump admin if they came across them in public, and they have. There is ample reason to believe that if congress flips we will be facing a two year stalemate. It's seems crazy to me that people are disputing that. How many Dem votes have their been for legislation supported by Trump since he took office. Not very many at all, I'm certain.
Ford made her allegation. She asked to remain anonymous. Feinstein sat on it until the last moment. The only explanation for that is political.
There has been plenty of activist support for obstruction yes, but you are ignoring the many Trump appointees who earned Dem votes. Look man, I don't know what to tell you, but you simply don't understand the political cost to a red state dem if they were to support holding a SC seat open for over two years. They would never do it.
