"Tell em bout the gunline boss"

Watching these highlights....

Tell me Hood did not hook up for the best alley oops last season.

With apologies to Alec, I am probably the most excited to see what Hood contributes in his second season. Hood had almost a Hayward-like rookie year in that he really struggled before the break (well, before his injuries) and then finished very strong. Not that he will, but Rodney has the capability to be the Jazz' leading scorer. I'd look for Hayward to be in the 19-20 range and Favors and Hood to be around 16-18.

I agree, if Hood explodes than the Jazz are a very dangerous team. I am very, very high on Hood right now.

I have a hard time believing Alec is better than Hood, especially when matched with the other 3 definite starters.

Imo Hood could easily be the best catch and shoot three point shooter in the league, but I think he gets into a lot of trouble when he tries to dribble and make a play for himself.....prolly worked a lot on it this off season though.

Could it be that the Jazz of all teams end up loaded with good wings? It's gonna be another fun season!

IMO you're totally off with this statement...Hood is deceptively good with the ball in his hands. He is good at getting to the rim and he has a nice "stop on the dime" jumper. He's not just a "catch and shoot" guy.

Tfivas is always wrong.

That's what impressed me so much about Hood over the last few weeks of the season. He had a surprisingly good arsenal for a rookie. And such a sweet 3PT shot. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if he becomes a rich man's Korver - i.e. he shoots in the high 40's from deep but ALSO has the ability to get inside.

Yes. Jazz could have one of the strongest wing rotations in the league. Hayward, Hood and Burks are all capable of posting big numbers on any given night. Add in a pretty competent Ingles and a defensive specialist in Millsap as needed. That's a very good set of wings. And the reason DL didn't go after anyone in free agency.

Lol every time he takes the ball to the hoop its a TO
See dribbling off his foot to lose the game against Washington last season

You should listen to the interview with DL today and what he says about Burks -- I think he is going to surprise everyone this year.

I feel like people in the organization and here have said that every year. Practice play is different than game play. I need to see him perform like a stud for a majority of a season to believe it.

This. Hood has this sort of dribble penetration post pivot move that is really ****ing good.

God this makes me so sad that Exum is out for the year. We could have been legit, like maybe 53-55 wins legit, this season. Now I'm hoping for 45.
