My wife became pregnant shortly after Roe was overturned. We were in the 1st trimester this summer and were really concerned with her health issues (she has a pretty extensive medical history) along with the fetus's while red states climbed over each other trying to come up with the most restrictive laws as possible. How has her life been improved by red states doing this? If Utah joined in this race, how would our lives have been improved, forcing us to drive to Colorado or California for health care? Would driving to Canada have been better? I don't know, probably not. You know what would've improved our lives (and countless others), keeping the status quo of Roe v Wade. It had gave women a good amount of autonomy with their bodies and then provided the fetus with protections, especially for the 3rd trimester. So he doesnt want national politicians involved with womens decisions but he does want local political leaders involved? I dont see how that is better.
Seems like the other dude having recently suffered a stroke was some context left out of that other fracking clip fwiw

What was wrong with the status quo?
Other than Supreme Court Republicans (the dog) finally caught the car?
