You're not? How did you reconcile those feelings when Sloan was coaching the team?
Its just my opinion. I didn't have to reconcile my feelings because my feelings were the same under Sloan. Some fans talk as though it is better to make the playoffs than winning a championship. I would have been fine with losing for 4 or 5 years or longer if it meant that the Jazz would have a legitimate chance at winning a championship. I am in the minority with this type of thinking but I have always felt that way.
I remember the pro-playoff crowd would use Chicago or Portland as their evidence to support their opinion about trying to take years to rebuild but now look where they are compared to the Jazz. I am not saying Portland is a real contenders but they are a lot closer than Utah is and Chicago is a legitimate contender.
