The Jazz are in trouble (schedule)

I just reviewed the upcoming schedule. Things could get ugly quickly. For the rest of January and February the Jazz play:

Nuggets twice (home: away)
Warriors twice (home; away)
Suns three times a (1 home, 2 away - including second night of b2b with the first game being GS)
Lakers twice (both on road; not a good team but I don’t trust the Jazz to beat them)
Road games against the Grizzlies and Wolves (both playing well right now, Grizzlies in particular)
Home games against the Cavs, Mavs, and Nets.

There are a few “should win” games in there as well (Rockets twice, Pistons, Magic, Knicks all at home) but the way this team is playing I could see them losing around 10 of their next 20 games…

How many more losses can we get before the trade deadline?

The difference between last year and this year is that we are losing to the absolute worst teams in the league, teams that will be top 3 in the lottery. Losing to teams you should easily beat is typically a trait of a young/inexperienced/immature team. What's our excuse?

Jazz will be 31-20 at the end of January and fighting to hold on to the 4th seed.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them go 5-8 over the next thirteen. I just hope some are competitive.
