Never before (and almost certainly never again) has a Conference's 3 seed - played the 4; 5 seed played the 6; and 8 seed played the 9.On the final night of the season.
All with tied records. All with the winner moving up in the standings and the loser moving down (or even out) in the playoffs.
If you aren't glued to a screen tonight with picture-in-picture running games you are even less of a hoops fan than if you didn't skip work for the first day of March Madness.
. . . and the greatest part of it all . . . our glorious little bunch of underdogs are the headliners of the night.
And in the midst of the maelstrom, we should fear no team, not the Thunder, not the Blazers, not the Spurs, not the Wolves. Regardless of the outcome we are headed behind the woodshed and we have a solid piece of oak in hand. Bring on that first round opponent - there's a beatin' in store.
