Actually this seems more like a rebuilding move to me. Sign a cheap veteran at to a one year deal. Wait until more young talent becomes available and don't commit to anyone long term.

I started looking at D-league stats yesterday, to see who might be a camp invitee for pg. I saw McLeod's way down teh list of assist leaders (something like 4 apg) and I thought I should mention it. I didn't because1- I thought everyone here would freak out over the possibility and 2- there was no-way KOC would invite a washed out 32 year who wasn't all that anyway to camp. Atleast I was partially right.

Coach is perhaps the most irrational homer of all time on this or any other discussion board. He even tried to argue that McLeod was better than D-Will (if I remember correctly). About the only thing worse than his reappearance would be that of Ain't Nuthin (and his various sock puppets).

19-13. Or was it 13-9? I forget. Why can't we just bring back price, sign a couple guys who won't get any playing time, and just call it an offseason? Tomorrow we'll be graced with the news of Andrei coming back.

Holy crap I thought the Tinsley signing was bad...
I'm guessing right now Coach is trying to figure out why his old login doesn't work anymore, lol.
I really hope he doesn't make the roster. I have to wonder what the heck the front office is doing bringing in Tinsley and now Keith Mcleod. Both are over the hill and neither was all that good in his prime.
Just let Burks play 3rd string point. Or bring in an undrafted rookie. Heck, bring John Stockton out of retirement. If we're going to bring in an over the hill vet who hasn't played in years, might as well get one who at least used to be good in his prime.
Wasn't Keith Mcleod facing jail time for gun charges or something? I thought I read about him being in trouble with the law a few years ago. Not like the Jazz to be bringing in all these bad character guys who suck on the court. Especially considering our young team. I hope this isn't the start of some Sonicsgate style plan to make the team suck so bad they end up moving.
