Sending random people to @Rubashov is rude, but in this case, appropriate.
Having ones decency impugned by you two is like being lectured on human rights by Pol Pot.

Yes the first thing you would think of is poles and pot.Having ones decency impugned by you two is like being lectured on human rights by Pol Pot.
I agree in general, but Golden State does seem to have the management and pockets to field a decent team. Detroit has mostly been a bottom feeder for two decades (they've been over .500 twice in the last 18 seasons).GSW picks >>>>>> DET picks

I think I'd still prefer the Golden State picks, but betting against an upstart (but recently **** show) team feels like a good move. Not quite the same, but Beam Team Kings were looking exciting two years ago but are back to being the Kings. Not sold that Detroit is a powerhouse for the next 8 years.
... and they're currently regretting it.Warriors never really offered up the full package of picks from my understanding.
The rumors are that Podz was the sticking point and the deal would have gotten done. I heard it never really got close enough in part because the full pick package wasn't even there yet.... and they're currently regretting it.

I think Tony said it but I think it was on SF radio in an interview and not a best buy situation. My memory is foggy a bit, so who knows. I'll ask him next time we talk if I remember. This a best buy situation, or just speculating? Not saying Shams is the most reliable these days, but straight from his mouth he said all the picks. That's what I've gone off of and I haven't seen anything that indicates otherwise. It's also the sticking point we were at as a forum, so it aligns with all the discussions we had around these parts.
Ironically, I think Kuminga+all the picks is better than what DET could offer w/o Ausar but GSW is also regretting not putting Podz in the deal. I don't think the Jazz are considering this fake DET offer, but if they are, the GSW trade would have been a win-win regardless of which side conceded.
Lauri is great but not top 5.I truly don't understand the trade Lauri stuff. Lauri is a top 5 player right now. On the tank end that sucks but on the rebuilding stage... Who's better to build around? Hypothetically speaking as AD is extremely injury prone but imagine using some assets to get someone of that healthy category to pair with Lauri, Ace, Keyonte. Again I'm not saying do it but even a healthy Ja type talent. That automatically puts us in playoff contention with room to improve even more in the off-season.
