The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

PJ Washington just went down for the Mavs, here comes some really dirty tanking by them this year.

We really need to start doing some tanky work sooner than later. There's loads of teams tanking (Clippers, Mavs, Pelicans, etc) that shouldn't be

Tanking is when you intentionally lose. The Pelicans are not tanking and neither are the Clippers.

But yes, there are an inordinate amount of low-quality teams and the Jazz need to get their **** together.

Hornets are fun. Lot's of rookies/young players. Good commentary team. When Lamelo plays he does something nobody else in the league would do. It's too they have Miles Bridges.
Plus Sexton.
I like them as well

Nico being fired is the least surprising FO move ever. His public image is so tainted he is probably untouchable for any NBA roles outside of LA Clippers.
Uhhh... well... you kind of missed the obvious position he will get with the other team in LA.

If you dont recall Jerry West traded Pau Gasol to the Lakers for peanuts in what was considered a seriously imbalancwd trade.

Memphis was pissed. The Lakers won trophies. And Jerry was fired. Guess where he ended up later that summer? Yeah, it wasnt the clippers.

Im happy for Pelicans fans that Derik Queen actually looks good. Still a horrible trade, but at least they didnt get completely boned by drafting a bust.

Does anybody else have a favorite non jazz team they are watching this year?
I watch the Sixers to keep tabs on my man Edgecombe (who's hitting an early rookie wall).

It's a miracle that team is 7-4. Nurse never seems to have a plan – 90% of the time they rely on Maxey going 100mph and creating something out of thin air. Fun to watch though.
