To be fair, I think the idea was that Philly's top 3 pick be included too. Nobody was wanting Lauri for PG straight up. The general feeling was that PG was washed and a bad contract.

I would have to think that if he were undergoing some kind of treatment like that he would have most likely had his team medical staff in on it, they would likely know what he was doing, and then get permission for the medication. Comes across to me as something illicit, otherwise why not just get with the league and let them know what you are doing and validate it doesn't violate the policy, and at the very least let the league know ahead of time so it isn't found in a random drug screen. Then I seriously doubt you are looking at a suspension, maybe just a simple "out for medical" DNP of some kind. Yeah this is way fishier than just a "trying ketamine for my depression" kind of thing.

There was a suggestion for Lauri + 5 for PG + 3, which was ridiculous IMHO, but Lauri for PG + 3 alone would at least make some sense. Not that I'd do that either.

Agreed. Especially the moron part (the world is flat, never forget). I think for a 25 game suspension it must have been something harder or worse than just a weekend bender over the holidays, but who knows. The league often does stupid **** as well. I wonder if more will be leaked about this, such as the substance involved. I would be very interested to know. They got past the whole weed thing, right? If it's weed, then how ****ing stupid is that.

PG got suspended for the same amount of games that Tristan Thompson got banned for. Thompson was using PEDs.

If you get caught with hard drugs you get a harder ban. Jalen Harris got a whole year and IIRC it was for a substance of abuse drug, not a PED.

All Star. Sorry if there have already been posts or threads about this. But it belongs here as we have no one in the game this year.

So many better players in the league than LeBron this year. The all star game has been a huge joke for the better part of 2 decades now anyway, but this selection is just by rote, and acknowledging the highest money-draw player the league has. Frankly Kawhi deserved this over LBJ, but no way in hell they leave LBJ out.

I also think that Brooks was more deserving than Booker this year, but that was kind of a given as Booker has better stats, but I think Brooks has had a lot to do with keeping the Suns moving forward even when Book has been out.

Any other thoughts?
