Ya steph is literally averaging a career high points per game this season before tonights game at 32.6. And he has 39 tonight. 51% from the field and 43% from 3 on the season. He is very very special.
 
Mitchell was one assist away from his first career triple double tonight.

I could care less about playoff positioning. For me I want the warriors to figure it out so that they have a better record than the wolves, Nets and sixers. Them having a better record than the jazz would be a bonus. I still haven't given up hope of our pick being in the lottery but if we are going to make the playoffs then I would prefer to be a 6 to 8 seed for draft purposes.
 
Am I tripping or are guys who haven’t shot better than 34% from 3 the last three years now not good shooters? We really are blaming shot quality for 3 years of below average shooting?

They will have a better record than wolves. Dont worry about that.
I would rather be the #1 seed and get the 29th pick than the 6th seed and get the 24th pick or whatever.

mitchell brick mode down the stretch and then tweaks something and limps around....refuses to go sit down, and we all go..HES SO TOUGH, but I think dude is really just a *****. He just does this thing where he's "HURT" everytime **** unravels.

Seriously, have you seen Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Russell play basketball? Do you not understand the types of shots these guys take? If you're just going to cite 3FG%, there is no conversation to be had here. If that's all you're going to do, you're gonna have to stand by that in every instance and completely disregard the context and quality that players shoot in. If that's what you want to do, than you do you. I'm not going to completely disregard the context of a shot.
 
It sucks that Wiggins decided to sign that extension rather than testing free agency this offseason. He would have been my number 1 target and such a good fit.

well i mean who is watching every shot of every player and writing down the context of each shot to keep a record. going off percentages is fine.

Their FG% and TS% aren’t good either lmao. By what metric are they good shooters? In theory if they took better quality shots?

Also, have you seen the shots steph takes? he takes so many extremely difficult "bad' shots. his percentages good doe. Same with jordan clarkson. Same with many many other high volume good shooters with good percentages.
 
Damn, Don probably won't play against Rudy on Sunday because of his ankle.

You don't have to watch every shot of every player. You need to watch like 5 minutes of Anthony Edwards and D'Angelo Russell to understand the types of shots they take.

3FG% alone is a horrible, horrible way to judge shooting. You need context. Royce O'Neale is not a better shooter than Damian Lillard despite having a better career 3FG%.
