The combination of Ant + McDaniels + Minnesota's deep rotation of bigs is a lot to have to score against all night. It's going to wear some guys down. You can see that Gordon and MPJ aren't getting cuts to the rim. KCP only got 4 shots off.

Shooting comes and goes. But defensive is something you can always rely on every game. Just sad we gave up our defense in 2019 in exchange for shooting.

Jokic may need to drive the ball and score, draw fouls and create kick-outs for swing passes. The pick-and-roll and hand-off stuff that Jokic and Murray run probably won't be there consistently. The guy who will adjust is Jokic.

I think it's fair to say the Jazz really won their trade with Cleveland. The Gobert trade helped set the market for Mitchell. So there's that. Let's see how the rest of Cleveland's summer goes.

This Lakers pick in '27 better be pretty sweet the way the Jazz helped the Twolves with the Conley trade.

I'll consider a ring for Gobert, and even throwing Conley in there, a win for true jazz fanz who realized all along what we had and knew that the front office screwed us by not addressing our most pressing needs, through either trade or draft, for 5 years before blowing it up because they so badly failed.

Go Gobert!!

It’d be bitter-sweet. If they win a chip and we end up with a bag of chips, the cope will be that it couldn’t have happened here and “we don’t have Ant.” If Minnesota were to hypothetically blow it up last season and someone said, “hey, they could have contended next year,” people would say, “dude, that’s crazy. Relax. They weren’t going anywhere. Their on-court product was bad and their chemistry issues were awful.”

If Joker had to score 40 a game then Denver is in big big trouble. But Joker needed to start scoring more if Nuggets want to stand a chance. If he can carry the scoring load when everyone else/every other play were stopped by the Twolves defense and helped them win this series, then he would really make a strong argument to be the GOAT at the center position. I highly doubt if but there's no any other way.
