The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

I honestly didn’t look much into Yang because I thought it was a foregone conclusion that he would go to the Nets. It’s funny how they had a million picks, when passing only, and somehow didn’t end up with him. He looks good. Conditioning needs a lot of work though.

Portland pulled the rug on them

Yang's highlights were impressive. His lowlights from the game look like he might not be playable for a minute in the NBA. He's an interesting project only because of one player though. If Jokic didn't exist no one would even mention the NBA as an option.

Yeah, he has lead feet, but I'm hoping that's more due to him just not being used to defending on the perimeter at all and something he can improve.

I think he has enough defensive size to be a viable rim deterrent though if he can figure out the foot speed/reaction equation

Isn't it kind of... early to make such pronouncements?
The entire culture is comfortable in convincing itself it knows so much more than it does, completely unaware that they’ve been convinced by themselves. Repeat it enough times and it’s a foregone conclusion to skip x draft and start stocking up on 2036 because that’s where we all know the real generational talent is.

That Suns pick is going to be so good. Teams that go to the finals and then blow it up need to be studied (Dallas, Phx). I don't know how Phx gets out of this for the next 6+ years
