He is a nightmare. The reverse dunk he had was impossible.

Wemby is insane. I recall reading an article years ago (Simmons I think, back in Grantland days, but possibly Lowe) that indicated one of the reasons the East is perceived as so much weaker than the West is that, beginning with The Decision, NBA GMs in the East basically waived the white flag for years and didn't think they had a legitimate path to the finals. That affected everything from coaching to front office maneuvers, so the ripples of Wemby's gravity will be interesting to watch as well.
I hope he has a long and productive career because it's such a unique experience to watch, almost feels like a gift. That said, and I know this is gauche to mention, but reports that Wemby grew and is now at 7'5" are concerning. I know his team and the Spurs are being careful and mature about this, but between the serious blood clot and historical patterns of players over 7'0" and injuries, he's going to need to be lucky in addition to his discipline and routines. (And I wonder if other front offices - including Ainge the Younger - are banking on that, even though they'd never admit it.)
[On a final note, while I didn't think so at the time, after the entire Luka/Nico/Flagg insanity Conspiracy Flc firmly believes this draft was rigged as well. NBA got their most at-risk and important players to one of the most stable, developmentally-focused franchises. Hope with the gambling scandal people take another look at if Silver is the right choice here.]
