Kuminga, a guy who jazzfanz was split on wanting to trade for (I wanted him fwiw), is having a pretty great year starting for the Warriors.

30.8 minutes per game, 17.5 ppg, 55% field goal, 45% from three!, 82.8% from the line. 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists. Dude is 6 foot 8 and probably as athletic as literally any player in the nba and extremely long and only just barely turned 23 years old.
If he played for the jazz he would probably be the player that we would all be salivating over right now as our best young prospect.

Gather step rule needs to be refined because it gives too much wishy washy interpretation. Some are saying the pickup is when his second hand hits the ball. Refs and rules have gotten too litigious. Need to follow the spirit of the rule. Like a center dragging his pivot foot an inch is not the same advantage as several gather steps.
