What's new

The official Jazz VS Brooklyn Nets 12/18/12 @ 5:30 ON ROOT Sports 1280 AM/ 97.5 FM

Is the easiest description of our starters... Soft? When they are more physical they look totally diff

I may be seeing the light here with Al. He can score pretty well, but he doesn't inherently make the team better or more difficult to defend. Maybe he's the guy that should be coming off the bench. He's a bit like the Jamal Crawford of bigs.

Welcome to the other side. On cue Big Al makes a good defensive play. lol
but seriously ill rep you when i can

We are actually playing defense, and look what happens.

It all starts with Defense...when will we get that into our skulls!

The offense doesn't bother me as much as the defense though. There is no pride. Big Al just watches people time and time again.
He's not the only one to blame. All of our starters haven't been up to the task on d.

I agree with this. I think that's partially why I love watching the 2nd unit come in. Even if they don't make up ground on a deficit or extend a lead, they are still often enjoyable to watch due to their energy on defense.

Calderon, Hayward, Sap, Favors, Kanter would be pretty good. Trading for a PG that unlocks everyone else's potential would be a step forward.

Exactly. They aren't perfect either, but you see the effort. We still need to see better defense with Favors, and Kanter but somehow they are easier on the eyes.

That is being nice. The backcourt is really just average. Mo is not a PG but a SG in a PG's body. The whole team looks like crap. No one is rebounding or playing defense. Stupid turnovers and chucking up shots. Just a piss poor display of BB.

Below average imo.

We have absolutely no offense. We either feed al or go iso.

Is Ty really this stupid

Hmmmm how bout starting a new lineup 2nd half.

Oh yea. Ty can't think that way

No. The stupid ones are the Millers for re-upping him prematurely and sticking with him when it's obvious he couldn't coach a kid to cross a street.
