One oculd make the arguement for playing Kanter and Favors over Big Al and Milsap (and I'd agree) but Evans? Sorry man, I like Evans as much as the rest of you but Evans is a backup at best.

I will say, you may be the greatest Burks Apologist on Jazzfanz. I sure hope Ale[c] Burky ends up being as good as you believe. I once had the same faith in Burks in fact I made a thread predicting he'd be Rookie of the year, but, in the parlance of Les Miserables, "some storms cannot be weathered." I've lost a little faith in the Burkmiceter.

This right here is exactly what makes a lot of JazzFannerz retarded. Who the hell is in charge of hiring the people you so desperately hate? Why be mad at the people who are just doing the best they can do. Its not Al's fault he plays here. It makes no sense what so ever to hate the team the gm built but love the gm.

Lindsey means nothing. KOC is still the guy in charge.

I love Big Al. I think he's a great guy. I just don't think he can be the number one or perhaps even number 2 option on a championship team. I understand your point that Al wasn't the answer and that KOC should not have brought him in, but He was trying to appease Deron at the time and we got Al for practically nothing, at a high price of course. I don't Blame KOC for trying it out and I also don't blame KOC for not Trading Big Al because it probably meant trading him for a guy who does not fit the system. We were not going to win without Al Anyway and even had we traded him before the season started and thus sucked worse to have a better draft pick, i don't know there is a palyer in the 7-10 range that would complete our team. I think KOC is better than 20 other Gm's in the league. Just look at the philly Bynum move-- What the hell? Why make that trade. Bynum's knees were obviously going to be an issue. or look at the T-wolves and the johny Flynn or brandon Roy Signing? The Hawks and the Joe Johnson Deal? The Nets and taking the Joe Johnson deal? the Clippers before Paul, The Kings, The Hornets and the money they gave eric Gordon? The Suns and signing Beasly and Dragic to good sized deals? The Bucks who traded away Tobias Harris and are attempting to sign Monta Freakin Ellis who you can't win with unless he is a 6 million dollar player and a 4th or 5th option. What the Hell are some of these GM's thinking. Give KOC a little more credit.

Also, I think Lindsey has more power and influence than you think.
 
Appreciate all the burks love....

Just surprised how the majority of the board was on the free Burks bandwagon but as soon as the season ended so many of you are ready to ship him out... Especially for players in a weaker draft, then he came out of!!!!
