The One-Day-Early Let's-Do-It-Again thread - 11/4 da Spurs

That's where it boils down to, and Hood being in foul trouble.

Yeah the foul trouble from Hood and Hill led to the offensive drought in the first, which put us behind early. Just a tough game and the Jazz didnt mentally handle it well. When we got hot in teh 2nd the Spurs also got hot.

Our offense has scored 20 points on 11 shots this quarter. For most of the 2nd quarter and all of this quarter it's been really good.

I think a lot of people aren't really paying attention and just want something to blame, irrational or no.

That hasnt been the problem at all though.

Our offense has been fine besides that bad stretch in the first quarter.

Our defense has been fine besides all the touch fouls. The Spurs are largely making a lot of difficult shots.

The main problem is just Gobert played in baby oil before the game started and Favors just didnt come with his big boy pants on.

the point is having an offensive scheme creates consistency, something we clearly lack. we have nothing prepared that we can lean on that we KNOW will get us buckets in a slump.

they're scoring (not particularly well, but still) in spite of no offensive scheme. its a credit to our players, not the staff's approach.
