The super gamble

To start I want to say I know this would screw the jazz for the next couple of years but I think it would also give us our best chance of winning.

3 team trade Detroit, Utah, and la clippers

Jazz trade okur, ak, fes

La trades kaman, Gomes or foye

Detroit trades Hamilton, Wilcox

Jazz get Hamilton, kaman and Wilcox

La get ak and fes

Detroit gets Gomes and okur

Why Utah does this is the move millsap back to the bench where he provides that spark of the bench. Kaman isba center that the jazz have sorely missed. I think hevwould be a better compliment to Jefferson.

Hamilton is the perfect fit for utahs system. He scores by coming off of curls for midrange jumpers. He is a good defender and would make Jerry smile again.

Why Detroit would do this is the get rid of rip for a player for less money and a shorter contract. Gomes is serviceable and the type of player dumars likes.

La does this because ak would be a perfect fit next griffin and fes would be a center in the future for them. The have aks birdnrights if the like him to resign.

Would the Jazz do it? YES
Would the Pistons do it? YES
Would the Clippers do it? BIG NO!

No way the Clippers trade away Kaman for nothing. Fesenko has no trade value. I love the guy but he is nothing more than a throw in right now around the league. And AK is worthless to teams. If the Clippers wanted to dump Kaman's contract it would be to a team with a trade exception like the Cavs or Raptors or Suns.

Two things Clips have their sf of the future in place and don't see them giving up a good C for Ak.

Second I would rather get Jordan than Kaman.

How does trading away 3 players, that for the most part aren't even playing or contributing, screw us in the short-term? We could trade those 3 for nothing right now and not much would change. Hopefully Fes can continue to develop, but let's be honest, he will never be a solid starter in this league. And AK and Memo are sadly both past their prime. We wouldn't be giving away much, which means other teams (LA) wouldn't be getting much, so although a nice idea, no way we get this done.

I like Kamen but the only way I pull that trade off with Utah taking Rip from Detroit is they include Austin Daye instead of Wilcox. And Clippers might do it. Becuase it would be a major upgrade at the 3 (Gomez is playing 35 minutes at the 3 for them). But they would have to committ to Jordan as there full time Center and Fez would be a decent back up to Jordan. With Daye in the picture coming to the Jazz. Id do that trade.

Well Wilcox was a throw in and I was just looking for an expiring contract. I also wanted another big.

Why the clips would do it is because Jordan is playing very well and seems to play better along side Griffin. When kaman and griffin are out there they struggle. La has already said they would trade kaman for a starting small forward. Ak has an expiring so they are not screwed. They could resign him short term to develop their young guys. I think ak and griffin would make a crazy combo. Better then Gomez.

I also think kaman would be a better fit along side Jefferson and heaven knows we need millsaps

I totally agree. But I like Daye over Wilcox just becasue of his potential. And I think AK at the 3 with Gordon at the 2 and Griffin at the 4 is a crazy scary good combo. And really Fez would be a great back up for the Clippers too. And If Utah got Rip and Daye plus Kamen it just might be enough to keep Dwill. Kamen was an ALLSTAR last year. And Dayes numbers during the summer league were pretty good too. I say call Mr Oconnor and tell him to make this deal.
