I haven't been able to see every game this season since we have moved, but in the 5 or 6 games I have seen from start to finish it seems Deron has not been crossing people over like he has in past seasons. His staple was the cross-over step-back j and that seems to be missing for him this season.

And am I the only one who watched this and, albeit just for a second, missed having Boozer in there to finish like that? Drives the point home that so far Jefferson leaves something to be desired.

....well, when opposing teams play little or no defense, Deron can do all those things. WHen we had Boozer, he was very ept at the pick and roll, which Jefferson is not. Spurs played very good defense on Deron last night. Deron was settling for long jumpers and missing. Few picks and screens were being set by our guys and the ones that were the Spurs played through them like a hot knife through butter! Statistically, the only thing was even remotely fair was the limited number of turnovers we had....we can probably be attributed mainly to the fact that Boozer plays for the Bull's now....and we missed those 5 or 6 turnovers he usually got with us!
