Getting a solid starting 3 on a rookie contract for a player who will likely leave for nothing at the end of the year sucks? What do you think we could realistically get for Millsap?

Well Marvin sucks and the picks likely won't get us anyone to build around. I think there is a much greater chance of Calderon resigning with us than Millsap, and for cheaper. Not to mention this finally forces Corbin to play Favors and Kanter. Houston gets the best player in the deal and address a need to they would have to think about it. We are giving up a limited player in Millsap who is holding back our future frontcourt for 2 starters.

Why would they trade us a very good young player on a cheap contract? To get it done, we'd have to give them Millsap and our own 1st minimally imo. But even then, I highly doubt they'd do it. It would likely take both 1sts. We still wouldn't have a pg but I'd love Hayward and Parsons on the wings...both can do everything...defend, rebound, pass...if we did this, we'd really need a pg, imo, who can attack the basket as these are clearly not Hayward and Parson's strengths.

I would love Parsons. He is like a taller Hayward with less ball skills. Rockets aren't give him up for Landry Fields (way worse than Parsons) and the GSW pick (at it's current position probably won't get anyone better than Parsons).
