Tony Bradley got more muscular... basically the Covid Pause has become an offseason now... and of course TB got more muscle. I can't wait for the follow up that says he added 15 lbs of muscle... it is 15lbs every time... no more no less. Now that Exum is gone TB is the obvious choice for the #Musclewatch award.

Finally things feel a bit more normal.

Yeah because NBA players on average lose about 10 lbs over the course of the season, which is put back on pretty easily in the off-season, then about +a few LBS per off-season.

I am sure they do... I just think its funny when guys talk about adding 15 lbs of muscle... its always 15 and its all muscle. In reality the 10 lbs or so they lose is water, glycogen, fat, and muscle... when they add 15 the mix is likely similar.

15 hasn't been thrown out just yet... but I'm waiting for the number... just wait its coming.

Yeah, it just sounds cool.

It's like when people said Malone was sub 5% body fat, or Stockton was 2% body fat. These just arent real things.

Agree. I think the big time move would be for a guy to say he's added 16 or 17 lbs of muscle... it would show they go above the norm but also make me believe some actual measurements were taken because it is more precise.

It honestly doesn't matter. If big fella is in better shape it will help... whether its stronger or faster it all helps.

Everyone knows I'm not a big fan, but he played pretty well that last 7-8 games. I would love to eat a huge plate of crow on that pick.

Tony Bradley has been super focused on changing his body for how many years now? I seriously doubt the last three months have made a big difference.

They mentioned him on the starters podcast and threw in the 15 lbs. of muscle. That is all I care about...

You have a point that body transformations normally don't take this long... he has made steady improvement and is still young so I think he can still improve. It likely doesn't change much in his performance... I'd be more impressed if he improved his outside shooting. That is his swing skill imo and he's shown no real promise (other than the three he hit that one night off a jump ball). If he can't shoot he will be a generic backup big... a Kosta Koufos.

Kosta played 11 years and earned nearly $50M.

But they don’t pay centers anymore. I think TB has a long career but will be a very average backup. Very replaceable so why use a pick and spend the time developing him.

That’s a question that you shouldn’t even bother asking because it goes nowhere. I vehemently why one would spend the time and money developing Exum when you could go out and get the finished product for half the price. Nobody has an answer for that. Worse, because they don’t have an answer, they get defensive and further entrench themselves in their decisions.

Yeah dude should lose weight, poor, obese people have worse COVID outcomes.
