If there were ever any doubt, the full on “deep tank” is upon us. This makes that very clear.
I agree. Going by the performance this summer in EuroBasket and the World Cup qualifiers, Bogey was clearly the inferior player compared to Lauri/Simone.I'm not even sure it makes us worse... the drop off from Bogey to Lauri/Simone may not be as big as the drop off between Kessler/Doke and KO.
This is not a tank move imo. This hurts the tank.
THT at least fit the youth movement. I doubt he turns out well, but we were still going to lack good youth at the guard spots if we traded with the Knicks. So why not give him a lot of burn and see if it doesn’t work out.
This trade blocks the youth movement of two young centers at the cost of our greatest remaining asset.
If it got us under the luxury tax I’d understand… but we were already under it. If KO was under 25 this could make sense too.
Our young centers are *** lmao. If they are good enough they will find a way. KO isnt blocking anything if they have actual talent.THT at least fit the youth movement. Next year maybe. He's non guaranteed next year.
No... I mean yes... Ryan now frees up some cash to make a down payment on that vacation home in Destin.@Handlogten's Heros is this a down payment?
Right... largely non guaranteed but yeah... not waiving him this year.He actually has 3M guaranteed next year.
Detroit might flip him at the deadline for a 1st if they arent in playoff contention.WTF? It's a charity from our part. Also feel sorry for Bogey for going to Detroit, he deserves to be on a contender.
I guess the Jazz really didnt want Landry Shamet's ****** deal like I said.
