Nuggets are open to hitting reset (minus Jusuf Nurkic). With George Karl starting today in Sacramento, I wonder if Sac pulls the trigger on a deal with Denver. It would make total sense. I think a good trade could be:
Jason Thompson/Derrick Williams + Nik Stauskas for Kenneth Faried.
Faried is having an off year, but Karl knows how to coach him and bring the best out of him. Faried was a rock star in the World Cup.
Denver could have PF choice in reliable back-up on longer deal with Thompson or one year rental on Williams. Stauskas is all upside at this point and a good shooter never hurts.
