It’s probably time to bet against the Warriors like we should’ve done last year (except now he makes a zillion time more money and just had a bad year).

Agreed this team now has zero chance to compete during Lauri's timeline.

I'd be fine if they basically start from scratch by drafting #3 and #5. I imagine they would probably need to take back the PG contract in such a deal?

With Dallas at #1 and the Spurs at #2 either one of those teams could easily beat out the Sixers for Giannis. I don't know Embiid's injury status but if he comes back somewhat healthy the Sixers could easily be a contender again in the EC with him, Lauri, Maxey, McCain, and Grimes.

Ehh, he hasn't been very good at helping teams win since the deadline of last year. His value has declined a lot and he was not nearly as valuable as his contract last year.

Yes, you absolutely do this deal. I do not and will not watch another season sitting Kessler, Lauri, Sexton, and Clarkson.... while having to watch to Keyonte play 0 defense or whine for calls or any other draft pick we've had in the last 3 years that are all horrible

Think that would be bad value for Lauri. Lauri for #3 straight up should be the deal. maybe add some fringe pieces. #3 and #5 would be a solid foundation for the Jazz. Maybe I am being greedy but I don't think its unreasonable.

It's 50-50 that Ace drops to 5, imo. The Sixers could take Edgecombe at #3, and the Hornets could pass on Ace because he's too much like Brandon Miller.
