It seems like a good move to me. I expect that it’ll help them get off of Davis’s contract, which seems pretty damn important.
People don't understand this well enough... we literally can not use the full MLE and retain JC if Ed's deal is still on the books. It is not a matter of just spending... we will be over the apron and hard capped... the league CBA rules will prohibit us from using the full MLE.
