Trump Dictatorship and All Things Politics

For those who actually might be interested, there is no new information supporting the Big Lie. Nobody has developed intelligence supporting this claim by Trump on Truth Social. The claim is 100% bogus.

Trump’s Truth Social post is based on this, which does not indicate the Chinese actually managed to pull this off. And indeed, it sounds like the FBI knew better to begin with. Meaning, Trump is simply posting an addendum to his Big Lie. It’s still a lie, always has been a lie, and always will be the Big Lie. No surprise the Chinese might help Biden. Just as there’s no surprise that Putin helped his man Trump, in 2016 and beyond. Apparently Trump wants people to believe the 7.1 million votes more that Biden received than Trump was due to the Chinese helping Biden steal the 2020 election.

More wonderful coverage from Australia's national broadcaster. If you watch only one minute watch the bit at the end, like the last minute. The World Vision sponsor a missile bit...

The fact that we have a president who doesn’t have a firm values system or any foreign policy agenda leaves us in really unsettled territory.

Does this sound like a man relying on American intelligence? If Iran’s nuclear program is a threat to us or our interests and all diplomatic efforts have failed, then war and regime change might be warranted. But if he’s just shooting from the hip, relying on whatever feelings he gets from watching Fox n Friends, then we’re in deep trouble.

Did anyone else see what the two morons and blonde bimbo with nice legs on Fox n Friends say today? Perhaps watching those 3 sitting on a couch talking about Iran would’ve provided us with a clearer view on American foreign policy than the president? Do we all need to start watching Fox n Friends in the morning to see if our country is heading to war?

US and Israeli intelligence agree that two of Iran's three enrichment facilities are severely damaged or destroyed, the third facility is underground in a hardened bunker, only the US has bombers with the capacity to bomb this facility. (B2 )

Massive Ordnance Penetrator, sounds like the nickname you give to a guy who likes fat chicks.

What are the aims in this little adventure? Iran will immediately attempt to rebuild once this incursion is over, do the US want regime change? How well has that worked elsewhere?
If we’re going for regime change, we will need to mobilize our armed forces. Does our citizenry know this or are they stuck in their social media and Fox News bubbles thinking that war is a game of Star craft and call of duty? Do any of our allies know that we’re preparing for war? Are they going to join us? How does this impact their efforts in supporting Ukraine and repelling Russian aggression in Europe? Especially after Donald and republicans have crapped on them nonstop for 10 years? Why would Canada join when just a few months ago Trump was threatening them with government change?

Are we down with the billions in public investment necessary to rebuild and stabilize Iran? Iran has a greater population than Afghanistan and Iraq COMBINED. Who replaces the Ayatollah? Are fellow middle eastern nations on board with regime
Change? Are they prepared?

What happens to our deficit when we slash taxes and invade Iran?

Do we even have the materials to make war while also leveraging tariffs?

Does China take the opportunity with Russia and the USA involved in huge messes to now invade Taiwan?

presidenting is hard!

Albanese has faced questions on this during the G7, from what the PM has said we are focusing on our regional commitments. Its interesting, we have made prior commitments to troop training in Syria and at present I believe we have troops training Ukrainians in the UK. We committed naval, air and ground forces to both Iraq wars. (not sure if air and naval went to both, think naval but not air) Then there was the decade long commitment to Afghanistan, which achieved precisely nothing, cost 40 lives, 260 wounded. More servicemen and women have died by suicide since the conflict. According to a recent Royal Commission some 1600 serving and ex serving ADF personal have committed suicide between 1997 and 2020.

All this said, if asked it would be remarkable if the government refused to make a commitment if requested. In fact an Australian government refusing a request from the US to deploy forces would be historic, it would also politically be enormously popular. Far be it from me to speak for the man on the street but the feeling i get is that most Australians think both Iran and Israel deserve each other. (the government also sanctioned two Israeli ministers last week.)

If a US request came for an Australian commitment, it would most likely be a request for SASR participation, however the SAS is under a cloud at the moment over ongoing coverage of war crimes committed by the regiment in Afghanistan. Ultimately it led to the disbanding of 2 Squadron and retraction of unit honours for all members that served in 2 Squadron. I've seen nothing in the press about a new squadron being raised, but defence loves to keep things secret.

Sadly, most of the population is somehow kept in the dark about this or doesn’t give Af
Both and mostly the latter. Most of the population doesn't understand what that means, as a true dark triad psychopath is very rare. People will have 1 or 2 of the triad traits but to seem to exhibit all 3 in equal measure is very rare and incredibly dangerous.

I just want peace.

I’m so tired of the Trump and his globalists starting wars. Endless wars of sending other peoples’ children to countries I know nothing about to die. Why can’t we just worry about our own country for a change? I want universal health care. I want higher wages! Why can’t we invest in our own country? America first!

It’s funny, as a high school kid and early college young adult, the GOP stood for:

Wars in the Middle East
Tax cuts for the rich while slashing social services for minorities and the poor
Huge deficits
Anti LGBT legislation
Deregulation
Giving the President more and more insane power

And after years now of claims that Trump has changed the party, I look at what’s actually changed. lol

The kids on this website won’t understand how similar it feels to 2002-2003 right now. I’m sure the Iranians will greet us as liberators!

Shock n awe!

Something something mushroom cloud something something.

Mission accomplished

So, we know this is going on, and it’s something one really does not want the government to be up to. I won’t be surprised, if in the future AI will assist in creating a totalitarian state along the model of the Chinese, here in the United States. That’s pretty alarmist, but things like Project 2025 can lead in that direction. Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation stated in July, 2024: “We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be".

We could end up walking right into a totalitarian society…

A group of Democrats are demanding that Palantir provide Congress with additional information about its contracts with the federal government following reports that the tech company is working with the IRS to create a searchable database of U.S. taxpayers’ records.

In a June 17-dated letter to Palantir CEO Alex Karp, the lawmakers asserted that the company “is enabling and profiting from serious violations of Federal law by the Trump Administration.”

The missive — led by Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. — comes after an article published by The New York Times last month said the company’s work with the administration “began as a way to create a single, searchable database for the IRS, but has since expanded” into developing a centralized platform of information on Americans that would be sharable across federal agencies.

“The unprecedented possibility of a searchable, ‘mega-database’ of tax returns and other data that will potentially be shared with or accessed by other federal agencies is a surveillance nightmare that raises a host of legal concerns, not least that it will make it significantly easier for Donald Trump’s Administration to spy on and target his growing list of enemies and other Americans,” the lawmakers wrote.

In addition to Wyden and Ocasio-Cortez, the letter was signed by eight other Democrats in the House and Senate. Wyden is also the ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee.

The Democrats claimed that Palantir’s contract with the IRS “blatantly violates the notice, transparency, and procedural requirements of the Privacy Act,” which requires the government to provide public notice about routine uses of Americans’ data, as well as disclose agencies’ policies and procedures around the storage and disposal of collected information.

Palantir’s expanded federal role was reportedly driven by President Donald Trump's March executive order to promote the inter-agency sharing of data. According to The New York Times, Palantir’s database work with the Trump administration was also influenced by the Department of Government Efficiency. Several DOGE members are veterans of Palantir, and several other former employees of the tech company have been installed in key government positions, including as the federal chief information officer.

Sounds bad. But then again, will this AI created Soviet like state have cheap eggs and porn still? It might be worth it if I don’t have to hear Spanish anymore or learn that blacks were once enslaved or see that the gays exist.
