Alas, it seems Donald Trump has reached similar depths of “self-destructive mania”. Witness his recent unhinged letter to Norway’s prime minister, Jonas Gahr Støre, in which Trump implied that he was entitled to seize Greenland owing to Norway’s failure to award him the Nobel Peace Prize.

Where to begin? Norway’s government doesn’t choose the winner of the prize. Nor does it own Greenland. And Trump hasn’t, as he insisted, “stopped 8 Wars PLUS”, or anything close. “We have three years left with a mad king. It does not feel sustainable.”

“Trump has the world’s most consequential case of untreated logorrhea,” said Susan B. Glasser in The New Yorker. According to a new study, in this first year of his second term he has spoken 1,977,609 words in presidential appearances – 145% more than in the first year of his first term. (This is why everyone has TDS. trump is everywhere and never shuts up. Way too much government in our lives.)

In his speech in Davos last week, he rambled on for a full hour and a half. In the course of his address he, among other things, explained that only “stupid people” buy wind turbines, and admitted that he had decided to raise tariffs on Switzerland because its prime minister – “a woman” – had “rubbed me the wrong way”. He also kept confusing Iceland and Greenland. Americans are somewhat inured to Trump’s “manic performance art”, but the stunned reaction of Europeans should be a wake-up call. Many there were openly asking: has this man lost his mind? Is he still capable of running the US?

In “a saner, better world”, Trump’s cabinet officials would be discussing invoking the 25th Amendment, said Jim Geraghty in National Review. But of course none of them would dare suggest he was unfit to discharge his powers. Nor did President Biden’s colleagues when he started zoning out in meetings and forgot the name of his defence secretary, Lloyd Austin, referring to him in an interview simply as “the black man”.

“After one president who went senile in office and another who is nuttier than a Payday candy bar, we can only conclude that the 25th Amendment of the Constitution is there for decoration.”

This is why they riot. Murder rate and most other violent crimes are historically low because Trump is getting these people off of the streets while Democrats riot. They riot for child rapist, they riot for murder.

Could you imagine Hitler doing this? 1000008140.png

There is no clinical TDS, though some psychologists are willing to go there, a very tiny, generally pro-Trump minority. Without a doubt, since I’m a senior, I hate to see my later years having to deal with this s***. But, I just studied history too closely. Decades ago, and with the emphasis on 20th century Europe, and the rise of fascist movements. Still, decades ago, and I did not realize that a 50+ year old education would make it so easy, so immediate even, to recognize Trump was the very type of leader, leading a similar movement, to those I had studied all those years ago. I was not expecting that, but, all of a sudden, despite Vietnam, despite Watergate, here I was actually caring again.

I think Trump can certainly induce depression. And he can certainly induce anxiety. And deep concern for the future of human rights themselves, and the future of a democracy in America. Those are not pleasant emotions. Not an enjoyable mental state. One of my sisters lives that daily, I do my best to remind her MAGA will fail eventually.

Depression at times. But not when finding oneself involved in revolutionary times. Resistance!! Resistance is its own reward, gathering with like minded patriots, all that is very, very enlivening. That part, gathering like they did in Minneapolis and cities nationwide yesterday, those times are so enlivening and uplifting of the spirit!

It’s very good to know one is on the moral side of an historical crisis. And that is side with which I stand, and stand in pride. Proud to be an American who did not fail to recognize who Trump was and what he represented. And if you fit that description, good for you, you are on the right side of History. You are a responsible citizen! You do not have the non existent condition the woefully ignorant call TDS.

How did a belief in TDS develop? TDS, as understood by MAGA, developed out of the inability of the Trump cult, and even more sane Republicans who do not understand History the way I do, the way many, many educated Americans also clearly do, to simply recognize how Right Wing populism can lead to extremely ugly results. TDS is simply a term used by Trumpers because they do not understand history, do not understand the role of demagogues in History, do not understand how a crisis enveloping citizens who are feeling cut out, marginalized by the “Deep State”, not benefiting as much as others, can lead to populists who instinctively understand there is this large segment of disillusioned citizens(that IS the GENIUS of cynical demagogues like Trump!), and who know how to say exactly what his audience wants to hear. That’s what Trump excelled at. Many who claim TDS exists are those very disaffected Americans that Trump knows he can draw in, it’s the very reason they cannot recognize TDS was something they themselves created out of their inability to see Trump was manipulating them! Sad!

This is how a belief in TDS arose: The people who actually believe TDS exists as a clinical psychiatric disorder do so because they simply cannot understand how anyone could be that alarmed by Trump, that angry at Trump. Because they cannot comprehend how anyone cannot think exactly as they do, they conclude that rather than there be any actual genuine reasons for such anger at Trump, it must be a DELUSION. They would rather believe dislike of Trump, TDS, is a mental illness, a delusion without any basis in truth, than actually perform a self examination of themselves!!!

And that’s what the folks promoting TDS are demonstrating. That they have pathetically little self understanding, do not know the cause of their own delusions, have no interest in learning the truth. So detached from the reality of Donald Trump that so many can see, and see clearly, that their failure to understand led to their belief that anyone that does not love and admire Trump must be mentally ill!

They created TDS to comfort their own ignorance.

They cannot see themselves as others see them! With no self understanding of the reasons for their own emotions, and without the knowledge of History that proves the past….INFORMS….the present, they simply fail. Maybe their grandkids will ask them “what the hell was your problem, anyway?!”, or maybe they’ll get to live in a fascist state of their liking for awhile.

But: Truth wins out. In History, Truth wins out eventually.

The rupture between Stephen Miller and DHS could prove to be a major breaking point for the administration.”

Andrew Bates, who had the same job as Schultz in former President Joe Biden’s White House, agreed “it would be in Trump’s political interest to fire Stephen Miller.”

“The oldest president in history got suckered into making ICE a secret police force for some basket case loser who acts like Sid from Toy Story,” Bates told the Washington Examiner of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Miller. “The result is the worst poll numbers for any modern president and the most economic pessimism in 12 years.”

“These leaks suggest staff are feeling real pressure as governing gets harder and the midterms get closer. People are on edge about political missteps and how they could play in tight races.”

To that end, Trump’s average approval rating this month dipped to its lowest point of his second term, 42.2%, and matched his highest disapproval, 55.6%.

Meanwhile, Democrats have an average 5 percentage point advantage in generic congressional ballot polling, per the same polling aggregator.

Trump’s second administration has been less leaky than his first, but it has simultaneously been tougher on leakers.

Trump this week, for example, sued the Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department for $10 billion after they did not protect the president’s tax information between 2018 and 2020.

In addition, the FBI searched a Washington Post reporter’s home last week as part of a leak investigation into a Pentagon contractor who allegedly helped her cover the federal government workforce and the Department of Government Efficiency.

Those developments coincide with other leaks, including a report the White House was frustrated with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy for campaigning for his son-in-law's congressional bid during last year’s government shutdown. There are also leaks that Trump has been complaining about Attorney General Pam Bondi for being “weak” and “ineffective” after he publicly implored her to prosecute his political opponents, such as former FBI Director James Comey and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

If you are using msn as a primary news source you are seriously misinformed.
Here’s a list of verifiable misleading or wrongfully reported just in politics so far in 2026. It’s only been 1 month!!! You’d think they are just lying on purpose.

Grok
Here's a list of specific political reporting errors or inaccuracies attributed to MSN (including its news aggregation and affiliated outlets like MS NOW, formerly MSNBC) in January 2026, based on fact-checks, user complaints, and public discussions. Note that MSN often aggregates content from various sources, so some issues stem from partnered articles or broadcasts. I've focused on verifiable instances where reporting was deemed factually wrong or misleading, drawing from a range of perspectives (e.g., conservative critiques and neutral fact-checkers like Snopes). Overall, criticisms center on bias toward left-leaning narratives, but I've stuck to substantiated factual missteps rather than general bias claims.

- **Use of AI-manipulated image in Alex Pretti shooting coverage**: MS NOW broadcast and published an AI-enhanced photo of Alex Pretti, a U.S. citizen killed during an ICE operation in Minneapolis amid "Operation Metro Surge" immigration enforcement. The altered image gave Pretti a spray tan, straightened his teeth, refined his nose, and made other cosmetic changes to make him appear more "looks-maxxed" (attractive), potentially to evoke more sympathy. This was misleading as it presented an inauthentic depiction. The network corrected it on YouTube with an editor's note but left it uncorrected on their website and syndicated versions (e.g., on MSN.com). Fact-checked as true by Snopes, with conservative outlets like Bongino Report and podcaster Hayley Hayley highlighting it as manipulative propaganda.<grok:render card_id="1e905a" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation">
<argument name="citation_id">53</argument>
</grok:render>

- **Mischaracterization of violence in Minnesota immigration protests**: Multiple MSN aggregated articles and MS NOW segments described the Minneapolis protests following Pretti's death as "largely peaceful" or "isolated unrest," downplaying reports of rioting, property damage, and clashes with federal agents. Eyewitness videos and later bodycam footage showed protesters blocking roads, throwing objects, and escalating confrontations, contradicting the "peaceful demonstration" framing. This echoed broader MSM critiques of understating chaos during immigration enforcement actions, as noted in X discussions and conservative media analyses.<grok:render card_id="439672" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation">

</grok:render>

- **Inaccurate claims about Don Lemon's role in a church protest**: An MSN-syndicated article from a partner source implied former CNN host Don Lemon "led" a protest disrupting a church service in Minneapolis tied to anti-ICE demonstrations. Lemon refuted this as "fake right-wing propaganda," stating he was only reporting on the event as a journalist and had no prior knowledge of the organizers. The story was pulled or amended after backlash, but initial versions spread misinformation about his involvement, fueling accusations of biased targeting of left-leaning figures.<grok:render card_id="2bc0a2" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation">
<argument name="citation_id">38</argument>
</grok:render>

- **False or unsubstantiated clickbait on Trump administration policies**: User reviews on Trustpilot reported MSN publishing clickbait headlines and articles exaggerating or fabricating details about Trump policies, such as unverified claims of "widespread sedition demotions" in the military (e.g., regarding Pete Hegseth's actions against Gen. Mark Milley) or overstated economic impacts from DOGE cuts. While not all were independently fact-checked, multiple January 2026 reviews cited "proven untrue" political stories, aligning with Media Bias/Fact Check's note on MSN's occasional reliance on low-fact sources.<grok:render card_id="0f97cd" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation">

These instances are drawn from early 2026 events, primarily around immigration enforcement and protests, which dominated political news. Broader analyses (e.g., from AllSides and Ad Fontes Media) rate MSN as left-center with generally high reliability, but conservative voices argue these errors reflect intentional distortion to oppose Trump-era policies. If more details emerge post-January, the list could grow, but as of now, these are the key documented cases.

I love that Trump is suing the IRS because by allowing his tax returns to get leaked damaged his reputation. What a ****ing self own.

If my tax returns leaked it wouldn't help or hurt me because it's just a tax return. The only way for it to hurt you is of you were lying about your finances and your tax return exposed your lies.
