Rahm Emmanuel is challenging the President Elect over immigration. Says that Chicago is a sanctuary city and will stay that way.

It's terrible. How come mayor can officially support criminals is beyond my understanding. How is he better then racist, homophobic and sexist president?

"This year, the City Council approved an Emanuel-endorsed ordinance to provide municipal ID cards to immigrants who are in the country without permission".

So instead doing what law requires to do - report those to immigration officers and get them out of the country he gives them ID cards? WTF?

Wonder how well Chicago would do without federal funding. Not that it could get much worse.
