Utah Jazz, Great Expectations under Quin Snyder

Yeah right like it doesnt matter he lost sixth man of the year and now MVP candidate. Harden got 29 number one votes. It dont matter he went up against all time big threes in San Antonio, Miami and Dallas. Thats like saying Sloan should have been fired for not winning anything. He had two top 20 players of all time for 20 seasons mate. Sloan didnt suck why are you judging Scotty by a new standard?

Sloan consistently got a lot out of less than stellar teams, and he did make the finals twice losing to ACTUAL all time great teams, unlike Brooks. If Durant thinks Brooks was holding them back, which he clearly did since he okayed the firing and new hiring, would you say no to him? Brooks was lucky not to be fired years ago and frankly comparing Sloan to him is disgraceful.

Having followed the transition of the Utah Jazz; you guys should start to feel the excitement you once enjoyed during the era of Jerry Sloan in which the arena was packed nightly with 19,911.

Quin Snyder was a great hire. He would have been a great fit for the Oklahoma City Thunder; however it's not good to covet thy neighbor's coach. :)

Good luck putting the pieces back together. Coach Sloan use to bring NBA championship caliber teams into OKC with players like Paul Millsap, Kyle Korver, Andrei Kirilenko, Deron Williams, Al Jefferson... to name a few. The player profiles in the NBA is what makes this league so great. True fans of the game have to give it up to the stars and star play performances.

Utah (SLC) has always been what we would like our city (OKC) to be. Competitive, innovative, supportive & the strong character of it people.

Coach Quin does appear to be in the process of restoring that mystique so enjoyed by Jazz fans. Snyder methodical team ball approach will pay long term dividends.

Good luck, Utah Jazz nation!
What do you guy think if kanter?

Great post, by the way. I hope okc can keep it together and get their stars healthy again.
