Utah Jazz guarantee Svi Mykhailiuk for the 2025-26 season

A bit shocked by this, but at the same time, I guess being from Boston he has a level of familiarity with AA. He also has a slightly bigger contract than Juzang, so maybe it's for a trade?
 
Ughhh, one of the most frustrating players to watch for me in the last few years...I thought he was going to be cut
 
Interesting. Sounds like Svi beat out Juzang. It must be his amazing on-ball creation. Or, more likely, his perceived trade value.
 
The last few days have really tempered whatever excitement I might have had to watch this team next season.
 
Could be trade fodder... could be that Juzang had actual opportunities to play and Svi is happy on the bench. Could be Austin knows Svi from Celtics days.

here's hoping he patched up his game over the summer. i feel like he's more talented than jusang, but has a ton of bad habits on the court. (i definitely preferred jusang)

Want to play for the Jazz? Make sure you're ok with being benched!

Nurkic over Sexton, Svi over Juzang. I actually think a major part rationale for both decisions is that some players are benched easier than others.
 
Why Svi over Juzang… makes no damn sense and Svi is my least favorite player to watch. Never seen a scrub take so many liberties with the ball in hand.
