We keep talking about living in no man's land and even as far as saying the Jazz have no chance of winning a title with the current CBA/landscape. For fans and a franchise that's tough and leaves you in a cycle of tanking and overpaying potentially.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if we just collected all the dudes people hate to play against, scrappy dudes that will do the dirty work, body up anyone, smack a ball out of KD's hands after the whistle, lay dudes out with a hard screen etc.

I'd continue to buy season tickets to watch/support that team.

I don't know, I'm annoying and acting out with thread making. Make me feel better by piling on to my irrational musings.
 
So make a roller-derby basketball team? Hell ya!

We've already missed out on Beverly and Crowder, unfortunately. What's Hoffa up to?
 
I know this is in jest, but part of what I like about the loss is that now this is Rudy's team. He has an extreme edge. Doesn't back down and believes he will be the best. I feel like besides a defensive identity, scrappy and killer instinct may become part of our identity.
 
I have said that any time a team lacks a star, it's some kind of unwritten rule of the universe that lots of people start talking about the 2004 Pistons. I don't think we can be the 2004 Pistons, nor should we be, but I'd like to see us make a run at being the Bad Boy Pistons. That would be something to behold. Crowder and Beverly would have been awesome for that.
