tease of the new logo. Looks like it's not just our current logo re-colored. I like it, but from the tint of shade of blue and green and yellow, it looks like we've robbed the Hornets colors. But then again, we were the first New Orleans team.

I'm just hoping beyond reason that everything will look respectable instead of clown-boner-color-wheel rehashed garbage. I know I'm vastly in the minority here, but I only like the music note as a point of novelty or nostalgia. I've been perfectly happy having a logo, court, and uniforms that at least looked respectable and somewhat contemporary.

It pains me how clearly and purely a financial move this is. I ****-ing hate Greg Miller.

It's called smart. He saw what the fan and sales response was to the green Jazz note and capitalized on it. He's a business man. Plus, in my opinion he's doing the organization a favor by abandoning our godawful jerseys and tacky logo. We're the Jazz. At least make an effort to pay homage to your roots or your name rather than slapping some font "Jazz" over some mountains and half a basketball. Moronic.

All you do is praise InsideJazzMan. Seriously, you must have over 5 posts sucking up to him. The dude is a farce and I wouldnt be shocked if you shared the same IP address as him.

I give praise where praise is due.

InsideJazzMan has proven his worth on plenty of occasions.

1) He was the second person on here to break the news of the Jazz' new uniforms.

2) IJM's inside sources told him the Jazz would make a huge announcement during the darft party. That night KOC made the following announcement, "were going to darft Eric Maynor." BAM!

3) He had the scoop on the Brewer trade, reporting it to us no more than 15 minutes after the story broke on ESPN.

4) He has had MULTIPLE lunches with Grand Harrison.

5) He has seen the new jerseys! He saw them a couple weeks ago but he cant tell us what they look like or else the NBA will come after him.

Do I know for sure that InsideJazzMan took that photo? No.

Is it something that someone with his track record and inside sources is capable of? Hell yes!

I'll bet InsideJazzMan will be on here around Noon tomorrow giving us all the juicy details of the new logo and uniforms. I guess we'll see who's the one singing his praises after that.

Exactly. IJM is my homie.

What the Jazz really need is a new team name, ya know? Everybuddy knowwin they aint no Jazz in Utah. I have always favored the "Salt Lake City Saltines," aka "The Crackers."

Yeah, I wasn't so into the primary logo itself. However, the colors nor the jerseys had to be touched. If they wanted to adapt the music note with the new colors and just leave the jerseys alone, then awesome. I'm dreading the new jersey unveiling if the merchandise and colors are any indication.

Also, where the hell is "Utah" in the new note?

We're moving the Jazz to Vegas... like I said in another thread, it would greatly benefit the Lakers if we moved them to Vegas.

I get that that's a joke, but it worries me. Especially after seeing some of the details behind that Elite Fan Club crap.

Besides, the new colors are clearly a transition for when the Jazz become the Seattle Supersonics.

Actually it wouldn't. Most people in Vegas are Laker fans. They even broadcast all their games down there. It was torture. Trust me.
